Key Responsibilities:
Rehabilitative Care Expertise: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using advanced rehabilitation techniques and equipment to improve pet mobility and alleviate pain.
Client Communication:Build strong, trusting relationships with pet owners by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
Medical Knowledge and Procedures: Perform comprehensive physical examinations, accurately diagnose conditions, and carry out rehabilitative procedures such as laser therapy, underwater treadmill therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
Team Leadership:Mentor and support our team of Rehabilitation Therapists and Assistants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
Record Keeping: Maintain precise and thorough medical records for each patient, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client communications.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine and participate in ongoing personal and professional development.
Who We're Looking For:
D.V.M. licensed in current state
One of the following certifications: DACVSMR, CCRP, CCRT, CCRV, VMRT, CRPM, CCAT
Additional Certifications a plus: CVSMT, CVA, CVAT, cVMA, CVPP
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a rehabilitation-focused practice preferred
Passionate about veterinary rehabilitation

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation + Sports Medicine Clinic in Burnsville, Minnesota is growing and seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team.
In the role of Associate Rehabilitation DVM, you will work closely with the Managing Rehabilitation Veterinarian and Practice Manager to ensure the highest quality of patient care. This role involves delivering top-notch veterinary rehabilitation services, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring exceptional client service, and supporting our support staff. Additionally, the role includes the potential for leadership and management development and exposure to related management activities (staff training and development and marketing initiatives).
Our Story:
Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (TCARSM) is under the management of Dr. Julia Tomlinson, DACVSMR and past president of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation (ACVSMR), and founder and Past President of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians (AARV). She founded TCARSM and has built one of the country’s premier stand-alone veterinary rehabilitation & sports medicine clinics for small animals.
Our 5,000 sq. ft. facility in Burnsville boasts a canine sports arena and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, including shockwave, laser, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and PEMF modalities. We offer diagnostics as well as therapies, including imaging (musculoskeletal ultrasound, radiography) and laboratory services, along with regenerative therapies. Adjunct therapies like chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy complement our comprehensive approach to care.

Has prior primary care practice experience and ideally some hands-on rehabilitation experience. Extensive on-the-job training is available.

Competitive Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
